How to Claim the Kerala Lottery Prize?  (What are the Procedures for Claiming the Lottery Prize?)

The prize-winning lottery ticket must be surrendered to the Director of State Lotteries within 30 days of the draw with all necessary documents. Prizes up to Rs. 1 lakh may be claimed from the District Lottery Offices concerned. Prize-winning tickets above Rs.. 1 Lakh shall be surrendered to the Director of State Lotteries with the prize winner's signature, name, and address on the back side of the tickets, along with the necessary documents. Claims on mutilated or tampered tickets will be rejected outright. The prize winners from outside the state of Kerala should present their prize claim of Rs . 1,00,000/- and above before the Director of State Lotteries with all the necessary documents


Documents required:


1. To prove your claim, write your name and address and sign on the back of the lottery ticket.

2. A claim form and a self-attested Photostat copy of the ticket’s front and back.

3. Two photographs (passport size) of the prize-winner officially verified by a Gazetted Officer/Notary.

4. An official prize money receipt in the required format bearing the winner’s full address and a revenue stamp for ₹1.

5. Guardianship certification from a reputable agency is required if the award recipient is a minor.

6. In the event of joint claims, one of the award winners must be permitted to receive the winnings, and a “Joint Declaration” on stamp paper costing ₹ 50 must be filed.

7. A PAN card copy that has been self-attested.

8. Valid identification proof includes a photocopy of a Ration Card(self-attested), Driving License, Election ID Card, Passport, or any other document.


If the prize is ₹5000 or less, every Kerala lottery Prize dealer can accept the lottery ticket and provide the sum instantly.
